Day 1 Arrival in Kigali and Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

On arrival, your guide will pick you up and you will immediately start your journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. You will enjoy many scenic views as you travel. You will cross the border through either the Chanika Border or the Katuna Border crossing. A visa in Rwanda can be obtained on arrival, so no need to apply for it online.

You will relax for the rest of the evening and prepare for the gorilla trek the next day.

Day 2 Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

You will have an early breakfast and proceed to the park headquarters for a briefing about the do's and don’ts of gorilla trekking. The rangers will lead you to start the search for the mountain gorillas. You will also enjoy the flora and fauna of this park. After meeting and spending ample time with these gentle giants, you will prepare to transfer to the next destination, you can also opt to stay in the same lodge. You'll transfer to Lake Bunyonyi and enjoy viewing the beautiful scenery along the lake in the evening.

Day 3 Transfer back to Kigali

You'll have an early breakfast before you explore the islands on this lake and enjoy some good views as well as beautiful birds. Immediately after this, you will proceed with your departure back to Kigali, arriving in the late evening. Your guide will either drop you off at any hotel or at the Kigali International Airport to catch your flight.
