Filming Locations

Multi-country filming? We coordinate cross-border projects covering Rwanda’s Volcanoes NP, DRC’s Virunga NP, and chimpanzee projects in Tanzania (Mahale, Gombe).

Bwindi Impenetrable NP (Uganda)

Home to over 50% of the world’s mountain gorillas. Filming includes habituated families and specialized gorilla habituation experiences.

Mgahinga NP (Uganda)

Part of the Virunga range. Offers dramatic backdrops with mountain gorillas and rare golden monkeys.

Kibale Forest NP (Uganda)

Known as the primate capital of the world. Ideal for chimpanzee filming and long-term behavioral documentation.

Budongo Forest, Murchison Falls NP (Uganda)

A lesser-known but rich chimpanzee filming destination with unique biodiversity.

Permits & Accreditation

We handle all paperwork and government liaison:

Primate Filming Permits: Issued by UWA, RDB, ICCN; we manage the entire process.

We assist with Form G, passport scans, scripts, photos, and submission to the Uganda Media Council.

We secure official letters of agreement from national park authorities.

Gorilla film permit – approx. USD 1,000/day per crew (plus individual tracking permits).

Custom Logistics & Services

Drone clearance through bonded agents and Civil Aviation Authority procedures.

Equipment customs handling using Temporary Import Permits (TIP) with 10% processing fees.

Transport options include Customized 4×4 vehicles with camera rigging, charter flights for remote locations.

We offer Accommodation booking, From field camps to luxury eco-lodges, near filming zones.

On-ground security personnel and fixer support to manage permit enforcement.

Technical & Crew Requirements

We’ll ensure you’re compliant with park limits

Max crew size: 5–6 in gorilla groups (Virunga chain)

Gear guidance: RED/ARRI, sound capture kits, drones (with clearance), field batteries

Crew kits: waterproofing, power banks, boots, and first aid — we help with checklists

We uphold conservation ethics at all times.
