Day 1 Transfer from Entebbe to Kibale Forest National Park

You will be met by our driver-guide at your hotel or at the airport for your transfer. Have a lunch stop in Mubende or Fort Portal, depending on your time of arrival. Thereafter, continue to Kibale Forest National Park for an overnight stay.


Enjoy the sunset and beautiful views from your lodge as you prepare for dinner.

Lodge Near Kibale National Park
Day 2 Chimpanzee trekking and afternoon community walk

Wake up early to have breakfast by 6:30 am. Your driver-guide will transfer you to the park's briefing point by 8 am for the briefing about the chimpanzee trekking. The trekking activity takes 1 to 6 hours, depending on when you find the chimpanzees. You are allowed 1 hour with the chimpanzees after finding them and are advised to keep a 6 to 9-meter distance. After the trekking, return to your lodge for rest and lunch.

After lunch, visit the community for a swamp walk. You can also hike to the top of the crater lakes, visit the waterfalls and have a local gin-brewing experience.

Return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3 Transfer from Kibale National Park to Entebbe for departure

After an early breakfast, check out of your lodge and start your journey from Kibale to Entebbe. Arrive in the late afternoon to catch your departure flight or go to your hotel for an overnight stay.
