Overview

This 3-Day Namibia Tour Sossusvlei Adventure Expedition takes you to the Namib-Naukluft National Park, one of Africa’s largest parks, with some of the most accessible and spectacular desert scenery on the continent. It is home to the Sossusvlei area, an expanse of enormous red sand dunes that is one of Namibia’s main tourist attractions. You'll explore the best views and scenery of this destination with passion.

Day 1 Windhoek to Namib Naukluft Park (Sossusvlei)

The adventure tour starts at 9:00 am from any hotel/lodge in Windhoek and heads south to the world-famous Sossusvlei via the scenic Spreetshoogte Pass. As you proceed to the destination, your guide will stop at various points to view and take pictures of anything that attracts you on the way. En route, you'll stop for lunch at Solitaire Oasis. After arrival at the lodge, it is time to relax and admire the vistas of the Namib Desert. You will spend 2 nights at the Desert Quiver Camp accommodation can be upgraded or downgraded. The distance to be covered is 350 km on a gravel road from Windhoek to Sossusvlei.

Day 2 Sossusvlei , Deadvlei & Canyon

After an early breakfast and coffee, you will depart for a morning excursion to Sossusvlei and Dead Vlei. You will stop at the scenic Dune 45 along the way and spend a couple of hours at both Sossusvlei and Dead Vlei. Some of the dunes in the area are a few hundred meters high, but the view from the top for those that dare is one you will never forget. After lunch and a well-earned siesta, you will join the lodge for a sundowner nature drive before returning to the lodge in time for dinner.

You'll explore the remarkable depths of Sesriem Canyon. Our experienced guides will share the history behind this magnificent natural canyon carved by the Tsauchab River.

After an early morning breakfast, you will depart for Windhoek, where you will catch your connecting flight or spend a night in Windhoek for some last-minute shopping.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made more than 60 days before departure qualify for an 80% refund of the deposit paid. Cancellations made between 30 and 59 days before departure qualify for a 50% refund of the deposit. Cancellations made less than 30 days before departure are non-refundable. Gorilla and Chimpanzee permits are non-refundable once purchased. Guests are advised to purchase comprehensive travel insurance for unforeseen circumstances.
