Today, you will drive south to the jungle of Kibale, best known as the primate capital of the world with about 13 species of primates. You will have lunch along the way. You can choose to relax at the lodge or take a guided walk in the community after the long drive.
You'll have a heavy breakfast and proceed to the park headquarters for a briefing by one of the park staff. Following the briefing, you will be assigned a guide who will lead you into the forest to begin your chimpanzee trekking experience. Kibale is renowned for its population of chimpanzees, and this trek offers a unique opportunity to observe these fascinating primates in their natural habitat.
After a day of trekking, you will transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park. You'll check in at your accommodation and have lunch. Afterwards, you will head to the Kazinga Channel for an afternoon boat safari. The Kazinga Channel is a natural waterway that connects Lake Edward and Lake George, which are both renowned for their rich diversity. During the boat safari, you can expect to see hippos, crocodiles, buffalos, and numerous bird species, including African fish eagles and kingfishers. Proceed with an late afternoon game drive before you go back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
You'll enjoy a relaxed breakfast and then travel to the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park, famously known for tree-climbing lions frequently seen in the area. The chance of spotting these lions stands at about 60-70%, but sometimes they are hard to spot (most especially when they are down in the grassland looking for prey). Should you get to spot them up in the tree, the sight is picturesque and memorable. From Ishasha, you'll proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. This journey is so interesting as you get to enjoy the scenic view of the highlands of the great Kigezi region. You'll arrive in the evening and then check into your lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.
You'll have breakfast and move to the rangers’ post. You will receive some briefing on the dos and don’ts during trekking. Thereafter, you will enter the Bwindi Forest for your adventure. The beauty of this rainforest is spectacular! The area offers a dramatic, steeply forested landscape and is incredibly dense but crisscrossed by numerous animal trails allowing access to tourists. The time taken and the terrain vary with the movements of these great primates. Once you have located a gorilla group, you will be allowed an hour in their presence. The time with these gentle but endangered giants is unforgettable. Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi for a relaxing overnight stay.
You'll have a relaxed breakfast at the accommodation with a spectacular view of Lake Bunyonyi. Thereafter, you will embark on your return journey to Entebbe Airport. You can expect en-route stopovers for lunch along Masaka Road. You'll proceed with the journey, arriving in the evening for drop-off at the airport. This will mark the end of your amazing 5 days tour in Uganda.

Every now and then a destination becomes so famous that people start questioning whether it can possibly live up to its own reputation. Serengeti National Park is one of those places. You have seen the photographs, watched the documentaries, read the articles, and somewhere in the back of your mind a small but persistent voice is asking whether the reality can genuinely match the legend. Whether all those wildebeest, all those lion prides, all that extraordinary golden savannah stretching to the horizon is truly as breathtaking in person as it looks on a screen. The short answer is yes. The longer answer is that the Serengeti does not just live up to its reputation it quietly exceeds it in ways that no photograph or documentary has ever managed to fully capture, and here is exactly why.
