Wake up early to have breakfast by 6:30 am. Your driver-guide will transfer you to the park's briefing point by 8 am for the briefing about the chimpanzee trekking. The trekking activity takes 1 to 6 hours, depending on when you find the chimpanzees. You are allowed 1 hour with the chimpanzees after finding them and are advised to keep a 6 to 9-meter distance. After the trekking, return to your lodge for rest and lunch.
After lunch, visit the community for a swamp walk. You can also hike to the top of the crater lakes, visit the waterfalls and have a local gin-brewing experience.
Return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
After an early breakfast, check out of your lodge and start your journey from Kibale to Entebbe. Arrive in the late afternoon to catch your departure flight or go to your hotel for an overnight stay.
