Upon your arrival at the airport, you will be met and warmly welcomed by a staff member. You will be introduced to your driver guide and given a briefing on your tour. Your safari will then commence with a transfer from Nairobi to Ol Pejeta Conservancy. You will arrive at Maisha Sweetwaters Camp in time for a hearty lunch.
After lunch, you will head out for an afternoon game drive in Ol Pejeta during which you will visit Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary. Rhinos are a big part of the experience when you visit Ol Pejeta. Apart from protecting some of Kenya's largest populations of black and white rhinos, Ol Pejeta shelters the world's last 2 Northern white rhinos. There's also a sanctuary for rescued chimps. The free-roaming wildlife includes the Big Five. Commonly seen mammals include lion, cheetah, hyena, elephant, giraffe, buffalo and zebra. More than 500 different bird species have been seen in the conservancy and the savannah and mountain views are lovely.
After a hearty breakfast at the camp, you will depart for Lake Nakuru National Park. All of the Big Five (except for elephant) can be seen at Lake Nakuru National Park, which is also teeming with other wildlife. There is a great likelihood of seeing both black and white rhinos, which makes the park a popular tourist destination. Famously known as a bird watchers paradise, the greater and lesser flamingos are among the park's best-known bird species.
You will arrive at the Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge in time for lunch. After lunch and some leisure time at the camp, you will go on an afternoon game drive in the park.
You will have dinner and stay the night at the lodge.
Wake up to a hearty breakfast at the camp, then depart for the world-famous Masai Mara. The Masai Mara National Reserve has been dubbed a natural Wonder of the World. The annual wildebeest migration, which takes place between July and October, is its major highlight. However, even when it is not the migration season, the Masai Mara never fails to impress. You can still experience the majestically sweeping savannah grasslands, breathtaking topography, the Big Five, enchanted sunrises and sunsets, the lovely Maa culture, and much more. The Mara presents a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
You will arrive in time for lunch and check in at the Mara Maisha Camp. You will then embark on an afternoon game drive and return for some leisure time back at the camp. Later, you will have dinner and your overnight stay at the camp.
After a leisurely breakfast at the camp, you will go on a full-day game drive in the park with a packed lunch. If your visit falls during the migration season, you will follow the migration as your guide tries to encounter all of the Big Five. You will watch in awe and anticipation as hundreds of wildebeest cross the crocodile-infested river. The ensuing herds will step over hundreds, perhaps even thousands of bodies that have drowned in the water. Those who are fortunate enough to cross the river will discover the predators on the other side who are ready to make a meal of them. You will be dumbfounded after such a moving encounter.
You will enjoy a picnic lunch in a beautiful area of the park. Further game drives will be taken before you head back to the camp for dinner and overnight.
Today, your adventure comes to an end at Masai Mara. After a delectable breakfast, you will say your goodbyes to the Mara and depart for Nairobi. You will arrive in Nairobi in the early afternoon.
Depending on your departure time, you can engage in optional activities in Nairobi such as visiting the Giraffe Center and the National Museum of Kenya. You will then be driven to the airport or dropped off at a hotel in Nairobi, depending on your preference.

Among Uganda's gorilla trekking safari experiences, booking a trek to visit the Nyakagezi family in Mgahinga Gorilla National Park follows its own distinct logistics shaped by the family's unique cross-border movement, the park's smaller size, and a booking process that, while broadly similar to Bwindi's, carries a few important differences worth understanding before you commit your dates and your deposit. Here is exactly how to book the Nyakagezi gorilla trek, step by step.

Every now and then a destination becomes so famous that people start questioning whether it can possibly live up to its own reputation. Serengeti National Park is one of those places. You have seen the photographs, watched the documentaries, read the articles, and somewhere in the back of your mind a small but persistent voice is asking whether the reality can genuinely match the legend. Whether all those wildebeest, all those lion prides, all that extraordinary golden savannah stretching to the horizon is truly as breathtaking in person as it looks on a screen. The short answer is yes. The longer answer is that the Serengeti does not just live up to its reputation it quietly exceeds it in ways that no photograph or documentary has ever managed to fully capture, and here is exactly why.
